So why is it that our generation is so intrigued by bloggers? Because we can relate. Blogging has changed and is continuing to change the world of fashion. It is a prevalent resource in both my workplace as a merchandising intern at LOFT, as well as my schooling at the Fashion Institute of Technology. Young people interested in fashion, like myself, look to bloggers for style inspiration. I prefer looking toward bloggers for fashion ideas because they wear clothes that the majority of us can afford, as opposed to a celebrity being dressed in head to toe designer clothing.  I've chosen three of my favorite bloggers to share with you who have inspired me over the past few years and allowed me to evolve into the style I have today.

1. The Man Repeller

http://www.manrepeller.com

The Man Repeller, an average New York City woman, is one of my favorite bloggers because she has no problem being herself. She inspires me to push the boundaries of fashion, specifically through the way she pulls off her overalls, mom jeans,  and turtlenecks. This blogger is daring with her outfit choices and inspires me to do the same. Her hysterical personality matches up with her sense of style- she never fails to make me laugh.

2. The Blonde Salad

I have watched The Blonde Salad turn into the amazing blog it has become and it has been an awesome experience doing so. Chiara Ferragni is from Italy and has an exceptional sense of style. Not only does she post about fashion, though. She travels the world and keeps her fans updated along her journeys- including all the delicious food she comes across! She started off wearing inexpensive clothing, but has now obviously blown up into a multi-million dollar phenomenon, so she is commonly seen in designers from Chanel to Hermes. Regardless, I still love checking out her blog and encourage you to do the same!

3. Sincerely, Jules

I first discovered Sincerely, Jules through her Instagram page and instantly connected with her. This Los Angeles blogger has such a keen eye for putting things together, especially her outfits. She seems to be extremely passionate about what she does, which translates into her personality, as well as her style. Her fashion sense is exactly how I would describe my own, therefore I usually look to her for inspiration before anyone else. She always gets it right when it comes to fashion, but does so in an effortless, chic way. I would kill to have Sincerely, Jules' closet, as I'm sure any other woman my age would. Check her out!
